Scope of Work
The following steps outline the work required to prepare the environment for the installation of
SmartSpace.ai.
Client-provided information and permissions will be essential for completing these tasks.
1. Create Azure Subscription
Task: Set up a new “Pay-As-You-Go” Azure subscription.
Default Subscription Name: SmartSpace
Client Requirement: Client to provide the default global admin’s name and email address.
2. Setup Global Admin
Task: Create or assign the global admin role to the client-provided admin (name and email).
Client Requirement: Provide the name and email of the individual to be assigned as the global admin.
3. Configure Billing Profile
Task: Set up the billing profile and link it to the Azure subscription.
Client Requirement: Provide valid credit card details and billing address for the account.
4. Azure Cost Monitoring Rules
Task: Configure Azure cost monitoring rules to track monthly expenses.
Dynamic Rule: Trigger an alert when there is a 20% increase in monthly expenditure.
Note: This will likely trigger in the first month, as the starting cost is $0.
Client Requirement: Provide an email address for receiving cost alerts.
5. Setup Entra Users
Task: Configure Entra with users and groups as provided by the client.
Office 365 Users: Users will be added directly if the client uses Office 365.
Non-Office 365 Users: External users will be set up.
Client Requirement: Provide user and group details.
6. Run SmartSpace.ai Pre-Install Checklist
Task: Complete the SmartSpace.ai pre-installation checklist as outlined in the documentation: Pre-Install Checklist
Client Requirement: Work with the client to ensure all prerequisites are met as per the checklist.
